This board is based on a birch core, which is stronger than the hardwood core plywood. This slip-resistant, exterior plywood has a hard-wearing phenolic film overlay chemically bonded to its surface by heat and pressure. This surface layer is imprinted with a raised pattern consisting of hundreds of hexagonal raised areas of approximately 10mm diameter in a repeating equilateral triangular configuration.

The raised hexagon pattern gives the panels a high degree of anti-slip properties under a wide range of climactic conditions and is therefore an ideal material for demanding flooring applications. The pattern not only gives the panels a surface that is skid resistant, but extremely easy to keep clean.
Pattern is only on one side, the other side is smooth.
